Men's Fellowship Evenings.
Men, here is an opportunity for some fellowship and fun. Come one, come all to a Powell Valley Wii Night! What is Wii? It's probably the next best thing to pizza? Wii is an interactive video system that allows participants to venture into the world of virtual reality. In the protected environment of the Youth Lounge, we'll have an opportunity to bowl, play tennis, baseball, box and enjoy several other interactive sports. Beginning Tuesday, May 6th @ 6:30 PM, Powell Valley men are invited to participate in an evening of fun and relaxation. During this trial period we'll be meeting every other Tuesday through June 3rd. So men, mark your calendars for this time of fellowship. For more details, please contact Dave Duhrkoop. By the way, this event has the support of almost all the Powell Valley women!

"Living Our Affirmations: The Centrality of the Word of God" is the theme for the 123rd Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church being held June 24-26th at Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, Wisconsin. This year we will affirm and celebrate our commitment to the Centrality of the Word of God. The annual meeting will deliberate and celebrate multiple aspects of our shared ministries including the election of a candidate for President of the Covenant and the election of leaders to key Covenant Boards. Other highlights include the adoption of the first Covenant Resource paper, The Evangelical Covenant Church and the Bible, resolutions on Global Trafficking and Racial Righteousness and the celebration of new churches coming into the Covenant. For further information, please check the Annual Meeting website at www.covchurch.org/am.

"Identity Theft - Who's Stealing Yours?" is the theme of the North Pacific Conference Women's Ministries Fall Retreat being held the weekend of September 19-21st at Cascades Camp & Conference Center in Yelm, Washington. Updates are on "Retreat" tab on the NPC website: www.npc-cwm.org.
